Bella, our 4-year-old miniature poodle, is full of energy and a playful spirit, perfectly embodying the breed’s lively nature. She’s an agile dog, often impressing us with her high jumps. After Bella achieved the Finnish Show Champion title in 2023, we ended her show career and have since moved on to agility training, which she has taken to with great enthusiasm. Her intelligence is noteworthy, even among poodles; she picks up new tricks with remarkable speed and shows a keen interest in all kinds of puzzle-solving activities.
Bella’s personality is quite independent. She loves to engage in her own little projects, like digging in the yard. While not fond of roughhousing with other dogs, she’s always up for a game of chase or tug-of-war. Bella is great with both other dogs and people, often initiating games of fetch, her favorite pastime. She’s a confident dog, not easily disturbed by loud noises like fireworks, and she barks only when necessary.
In social situations, like passing by others, Bella is calm and assured; she walks confidently with her tail held high.

Bella, 4-vuotias aprikoosin värinen kääpiövillakoiramme, on täynnä energiaa ja leikkisyyttä – oikein tyypillinen kääpiövillis! Bella on ketterä koira ja hyppelee innoissaan huikean korkealle, kuin sirkuskoira ikään.
Lopetimme näyttelyharrastuksen vuonna 2023, kun Bellasta tuli Suomen muotovalio, ja aloitimme agilityn, josta hän on todella innoissaan. Bella on hyvin älykäs ja oppii temppuja todella helposti, ihan melkein parissa sekunnissa hoksaa mistä on kyse. Hän todella nauttii kaikenlaisista tehtävistä ja älypulmista.
Luonteeltaan Bella on aika itsenäinen ja tykkää puuhastella esim. omia kaivuuprojektejaan pihalla. Ei ole niin innoissaan rymyleikeistä (tai varsinkaan painista) toisten koirien kanssa, mutta hippa- ja vetoleikkeihin lähtee kyllä mukaan. Suhtautuu muutenkin hienosti vieraisiin koiriin ja ihmisiin. Bella on hyvin itsevarma tapaus eikä pienestä hätkähdä. Esim. hän ei ole millänsäkään ilotulituksista eikä ole kova haukkumaan. Ohitustilanteet ovat aina sujuneet hienosti. Bella kulkee iloisesti ja itsevarmasti häntä pystyssä.
